The SRT pendulum meter

… and its application

This is the so-called SRT pendulum meter. It is used to measure the microroughness of floor coverings.

The measuring instrument is mentioned in various product standards (CE marking) and also in various application leaflets. Some examples are: DIN EN 13036-4, AS 4586, BS 7976-2, as well as in the fact sheet on “Slip resistance of paving and slab coverings for pedestrian traffic, working instruction “Combined grip and roughness measurement”, etc..

Country-specific, if necessary, different rubber gliders are used, whereby the format is identical, but the rubber compound is different.

At the measuring location, the SRT device is set up and aligned with the help of the can-ebelle and the adjustable feet.
